2K Family Fun Run/Walk
2K Family Fun Run/Walk will be held immediately following the conclusion of the 5K Run. Ribbons will be awarded to all those participating
$1 entry fee per person - Registration will begin at 7am (no entry form required)

Never Golfed before? Would you like to learn? The Van Wert Parks Dept along with the Hickory Sticks Golf Course will be offering a one day Golf Clinic this summer. Learn from the Hickory Sticks Golf Pro the basics of the game; hitting, driving and putting. If you are just a beginner this is a great opportunity to fine tune your skills. Ages for adult are 15-Up .

Halloween Party is a time to dress up, opportunity to enter the costume-judging contest, along with enjoying the ghoul and goblin snacks and games. Held late October at the Council on Aging Senior Center.
Thanksgiving Potluck provides the opportunity to bring in your favorite Thanksgiving dish to share and enjoy at a Thanksgiving feast, plus participate in games. Generally held the week of Thanksgiving at the COA Senior Center.
Christmas Party has all the sounds of the Christmas season with singing of carols and special entertainment. An edible gift exchange, door prizes, and treats top off the day as we wish everyone a special holiday. This program is also held at the COA Senior Center.
The Council on Aging Senior Center is located at 220 Fox Road.
