Working together, the Water Distribution Department and the Wastewater Collection Department installed 5,000 feet of water lines in Vision Industrial Park.  In addition to the 12-inch main line, eleven fire hydrants were also installed in Vision Industrial Park.  Pictured is a water distribution employee bolting a section of a pipe that runs from Vision Drive to a line supplying water to Production Drive. The red objects pictured are two water main shutoff valves. 

An additional project of the Water Distribution Department involved replacing a number of fire hydrants, throughout the city, that no longer offer an adequate volume of flow.

Personnel from this department also participate in various capital improvement projects relating not only to water distribution but also to sanitary sewers and storm sewers.
