Citizens within the recycling district may drop off residential brush.  City crews involved in residential brush pickup also haul to the recycling center.
A grinder is hired by the recycling center several times a year to grind the brush down to a mulch.  Pictured is a track hoe which drops the branches and other debris in the rotating dish of the grinder.  After grinding, the mulch is dropped off a conveyer belt onto a pile.
The mulch is free to residents within the recycling district, however many choose to incur a fee to have the mulch loaded onto their vehicle.

Firewood is also another recycling product that is free to residents within the district.

Grass clippings, leaves, and similar year waste are placed in a separate area within the recycling property to form compost piles.  The compost is periodically turned over as part of the degrading process until it becomes rich top soil.  This soil is also available to residents within the district.
