The Safety-Service Department is the information and communications center for many City offices along with being responsible for many areas of the City government.   Business hours are 8:00 am until 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.

This Departments handles all matters and public inquires concerning the Safety-Service Director, City Engineer, building permits, code enforcement, zoning, planning, traffic engineering, personnel, Street Department, Sewer Department, and many other matters not specifically handled by another city department.
